| To really get this car across BMW and it's marketing department have been showcasing the car to everybody and every type of business, especially high class hotels and companies that need luxury transport for clients. From the very beginning the marketing department have said this is a car we have to market aggressively. T. spoke to a future customer GT who was an architect and his buildings and interiors were unique and more design led than a conventional approach. He has a GT on order because he needs a car to reflect his business to his clients and he reckons that the individuality and preciseness and modernity that the GT showcases is the kind of car he needs to reflect his creative individuality for his clients . There are also some hotel chains who have ordered 5er Gran Turismo's. I think that the more people come to see the 5er Gran Turismo they will begin to open up more and understand the concept. To BMW it is a more personal and indeed a lifestyle choice. One thing that is evident is that we know our competitors are keeping an eye on the preceeeddings. |

| So...I guess that the car is doing pretty well...I used to rant on and on about how awfully the car was going to do...but I guess I was wrong.

| Just curios, how come the 5er GT included in BMWblog's post above show a steering wheel without the BMW badge...and also, for a luxury vehicle, it's interesting that the chrome lining the greenhouse wasn't included in favor of the 'shadow' lining (I think that's what it's called). Hmmm, none of the wheels have any BMW logos... so is this a test vehicle which had it's black tape taken-off ?
