Now im leaving the design out..cause we are not supposed to talk about cars as beauty contests as someone here said..

| btw, as crazy as it may sound, are there any plans of other derivatives within the 5er GT? a cabrio perhaps?

| Personally I think this car looks fantastic. Finally a legit crossover from BMW instead of a 5er wagon on an overdose of performance and muscle enhancing drugs. I'd snap one of these up in a heart-beat. I've yet to see anything that looks close to it. As where the R-class looks like a collabo between MB and Toyota this looks as authentic a BMW as the original 328 Mille Miglia. Absolutely love it and it's real BMW down to it's funked-i-fied core design and features. |

| The car itself I think is ugly, I don't even understand the concept. I also don't understand why BMW would reveal the obvious direction (?) of the F10 5-Series with this?  The 5 should hit like a surprise IMO.The interior ambient lights look great, but the rest of the interior looks a bit too much like the current 5'er IMO. Don't get me wrong I think it looks pretty damn nice in these pictures, but I was hoping the F10 would have a bit more of an improvement, maybe the materials are better though.... I will say, if the F10 carries over some of the design elements and hones them nicely into a proper sedan, I might indeed jump sides if I'm looking for a new German sedan in a couple of years to keep with my current one . I think it'll look nicer, and age much better (more organic) than the W212. |
