I know it`s a bit earily bet lets see how good you guys are.

Post liter-capacity and cylinder count you believe the next M5 will get.

Also if you believe this next-generation M5 will be the best yet! or suffer from BMWs new "progressive-luxury" additude.

Post 1-100km h times and beyond.. average breaking dis, exc..

Plus the all important Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit: numbers

I say 30 hp more than whatever features both X6 M and X5 M.

I'd have to agree with Skysony - probably somewhere between 530 and 550 BHP
Maybe a 4 or 4.5 litre V8
8 speed gearbox
0-100 kmh in 4.6 sec
0-200 kmh in about 13.5 - 14 sec
as usual, 250 km/h max speed electronically limited
It will probably gain some weight with new gadgest and equipment, so I don't expect braking distances or lap times to be much different from current M5.

Re: BMW (F10) M5 engine predictions and speeds

Unfortunaly its going to be a twinturbo V8 or V10.
Horsepower depend on how much power X5M is getting. I think we can be sure of +530hp for the M5.
