Talking about the M5, there is an insider in Carspyshots who talks about supercars only, and I´ve asked him how many hp will the next M5 and M6 have. He has answer me that X5 and X6 M, M5 and M6 will use the TT V8 engine, with more or less 550 hp.

I think in one of the X5M or X6M videos or maybe somewhere else, the BMW guy mentioned something about the TT-V8 becoming the most powerful M engine ever built by BMW.

Not only the most powerful M-Engine, but the most powerful BMW ever. So it will be more powerful than the new 760 V12 as well. And that is said to deliver 544 bhp.

I knew that, this guy has very good information always about almost every supercar on the works. I think 550 hp sounds reallistic, but we won´t have to wait much more, the reveal of the X6 M will tell us the numbers of the F10 M5.

By the way... Haven´t we read about that the registration plate will be placed on the bumper just lite the current 6er and 1 er, instead of the trunk lid???

Is the 544 BHP confirmed for the new V12?
It would be nice if they use a TT V10 to deliver the same number.

I doubt "M" will just lift the engine from the X5/X6 M and put it in the F10 M5.
