Don't think its early, I believe Scott mentioned spring 2010. But it will be 2011 model.

The E60 was presented in March 2003 according to German wikipedia (was it really that early? I remember visiting my dealer in the fall ) so that would suggest spring 2010 presentation for the F10.

Quite a delay from presentation to release (at least in the USA, consider the F01 presentation date). Also, it would seem possible if not likely that the slumping world economy might effect the timeline.

I think it will be closer to or during 2011 rather than spring of 2010 if we are talking about when the F10 will be available for sale. Just a guess though.

We saw or BMW dealer on June 2003 and the E60 was exposed there. The press realese were during spring 2003. And Scott has said the car will see the light on early 2010, so that´s it.

2010. 2003 + 7 years is 2010.

For America, I don't know/care. Could be 2011.

E60 was launched on April 1 2003 , everyone thought it would launch @ Geneva earlier although we had two examples of the 5er backstage along with our other 2003 introductions The X3 - represented out the main stand with the X-activity Concept Car and the 6er .
F10 will debut either before or after Geneva 2010.

That was an exciting time as the excitement was building up new 5er , X3 and 6er all debuting at Frankfurt as well with the then E53 X5 facelift.
Expect another exciting build up with the next generation 5er , X3 and 6er. Although the X3 will probably debut at a US show as the new generation X3 will be built entirely in Spartanburg.

We were going to launch the 1er @ Geneva a year later but we reserved the spotlight for the debut of the BMW M5 Concept Car, and the european debut of the 6er Cabrio after having debuted in Detroit the previous January and the world Premiere of the BMW 5er Touring. Initially we started our build up to the unveiling of the 1er with the Kermit print adds and "The Principle of Joy" Campaign.

We were going to have a completely covered car or box surrounded by a barrier as a tease until the April debut but when the 1er was undergoing film and photography in Melbourne Australia a lucky onlooker caught the car undisguised and unfortunately our "tease" idea went out the window. But there was no doubt to who the star of the BMW stand was and that was the M5 Concept Car.

Excellent job with the math Klier! Something tells me BMW AG might care a tad more about the U.S.A. market than Holland's though.

As far as Scott said so, so that's it SONY, if memory serves he totally mucked up the new Z4 timeline so it will be a while before I drink that punch again.

There always is one year between the new E and the new 5er. The W212 is for spring 2009, and the F10 is for spring 2010.

I wonder whne are we going to see the first FEP pics, I´m starting to get bored of all those mules with heavy camo. W212 E-Class showed us its FEP mules on January 2008, so if F10 is going to be showed on spring 2010 maybe we can see FEP pics this spring.
