how on earth can you think these chops looks good, they are aweful. looks like something a toyota designer came up with when he´s got a bad hangover. But seriously i don´t believe that van hooydonk and his team would came up with such a bad headlight design.

Eni and scott27 have said many time that we sould expect a very evolutionary design... these PS just is´t.

Yu have to realise that the whole bumper and grille design is close to 100% to the real deal, since our members here have photoshopped the leaked bumper on spy pics of the F10. Nobody knows exactly about the headlight design because the upper part has not been disclosed yet.

This is what you have to look at:

I don´t see this new generation of BMWs being as radical as the first Bangle designs. They have soift lines, they are more muscular... They are an evolution, said by marketing guys.

And I say that I am surprised by how even with that, some designs looks more agressive than the old ones, when they are not a design revolution.

Also I can say that I like much more this way of evolution (F10, Z4) than the way the F01 has done it.

Not even that, I would say that the upper part of the headlights except the end of the eyebrow are correct, since you can see on spy pics that the frontlights ends when start the hood, having a very sleek design .

Scott said my head lights just needed more "emphasis" so when Andy completly changed the style..it had to be wrong.

That's all speculation, but the lower part is pretty much final.

I think the overall shape of the P/S is quite nice actually (and I haven't been drinking). As I said in an earlier post, it reminds me of an e39 more than an e60. I am on my 2nd e60 after an e39 (also a couple of 3's previously) and I much prefer the styling and size of the e39. The e60 is almost too big now and has lost some of its sportiness if you ask me. Still like the e60 a lot, although it took me a while to warm up to the styling. In any event, I would be thrilled to see an F10 that resembled an e39. How about a little smaller than the e60 instead of the trend to grow the size of new models? And make DCT available with xdrive and throw a few more horses at the in-line six and I'm sold

^ It will probably grow a bit in size again, but it will not be heavier. The 3.0 TT will get the upgrade to 326 hp in the F10, and it would be strange if they wouldn't offer DCT and xDrive at the same time for this car....I think yoor wishes will come true, other than the size (but not the weight!)

But never mind , keep guessing just over a year until the debut in Spring 2010.

No matter how hard some of you try to convince yourself. There are no elements in the cars appearance to suggest looking backward to the E39.

How about this chop Scott? Does it look better or worse than production version?
