Your headlights are wrong.

I´ve seen today on a spanish magazine a render of the rear end of the new F10 5er. It was a mix between the current E60 and the CS. But only talking about rear lights of course. They wrap around the rear corner, but in a more curvy way than on the E60, they were slimmer in the boot lid part, as has a little part of them that is separated by the boot lid.

I´ve tried to explain it the best I can due that English is not my mother lneguage. But I think you ca understand more or less what I am refering.

You told us a while ago that the headlights were going to be more like this:

Similar. Axe the CS-like inner edge of the headlight cluster - make it pointy like on other BMWs. Rear lights: slightly different graphics + the boot cut line divides the cluster in approx. 2:1 ratio. CGI shows a whole cluster located on a flank. Also the graphics is just too similar to E60. And the real shape is stylized L-shape - similar to the way E89 Z4 & E82 1er coupe lights are done: yet divided by boot cut line. See the Huck's CGI in the post #1 to get the idea of the edge flow - although Huck's headlight impression is a bit strange.

Thanks EnI!!. More or less what I except it should be different. But you have told me doesn´t like me at all. Another BMW featuring L-Shape rear lights?. Even not being as evident as on the F01, but, L shape again.

About the front. Didn´t you expect something more agressive?. Remember when the CS was unveiled, you told us about HUGE twin kidneys, but this ones on the F10 seem to be exactly the same size as E60, but different shape.

It seems like some things have change on some designs within the months. A year ago I would have said that the new 5er will hae more CS influences on the front that the F01 7er, but now it seems like the contrary (It´s a pitty anyway because the CS front is gorgeous, may be with the next 3er?).

are you telling us that huckfelds "first old" #1 impression of the rear is more or less the real deal? if so im actually disappointed.

Not at all. I think what he is trying to say is that the render I´ve posted is near, but some details are off, as always happens with PSs. So, he is telling that the rear lights will continue a bit into the boot lid, and the way the advance until they wrap around the side profile is a bit Z4-ish, making a slighty L-Shape like the Hucks render.
