I tried to sell them my avatar, have not heard from them yet...

Looking on the web I´ve found this pics that let us see more in detail some facts, like the manual shifter or a bit of the headlights shape. I think we can forget about the classic BMW dials, instead of them we will have the new digital ones featured in the all new F01, and also, forget about the manual hand brake, on this new F10 it will be electronic.







The front lights seem to be a more squared version of the actual one, like the ones on this PS:



And the interior is actually a derivate of the F01, with the same style seen on the X5, X6 and 7er, same steering wheel than F01, same dials, and probably same air controls and all that stuff, it will look quite fine IMO.

You're quite right about the interior; it'll be highly like F01. LIke the difference between E38 and E39 interiors probably.
I'm more than happy with that, because the new 7er has a great design.

Loving this now, think it'll be a stunning car.

It better be, I really think that when it was launched, the E39 was far more spectacular than the boring E60.

Pffff, say what you want about the E60, but boring sure isn't one of the words to describe the car. It's everything but boring imo.

F10 will be much better looking than F01, I'm very sure of that.

True, boring is not the appropiate word, may be pretty, less BMW, whatever you want to call it, but I´m sure you, as a beemer boy, would know what I mean.

And yes, I´m also sure F10 will beat F01 in terms of design.

E60 was far from boring, instead when it launched, I absolutely loved it, a toned down E65, although witnessing the fact that interior lacked a lot of trims, but overall a great car to look at, even now! The only 'not so bmw' part of the E60 imo was the side swage line.

One thing i notice about the interior (from the above pics) is that the dash will be same as F01, a screen dash? It seems like it only have rings and needles, no words. not saying it's something special or good (i actually don't know the point of it, since you start the car and it displays the numbers on the screen static, just like a conventional stuff), but the new E don't have it right?
