Out of curiosity, how is project F10 progressing anyway? is it going to be even more thoroughly engineered than the F01? Are we going to be even more impressed than when we saw the F01?

Btw, does the new 5er get the designation "L7 Produkt Line"? that's what i've heard.

Oh no. First every single BMW mockup has int he flavour of the CS and now the auto magazines are going to create mockups oriantating from the F01.

When are we going to see the car with final lights like PAS?. We only know it will have the same air intake than 7er and that the twin kidnet grille will be wider, like CS.

^ Same air intake as the 7er? What are you talking about??? NOTHING will be the same. They will resemble eachother at best.

I can tell you that both answers are yes.

More thoroughly engineered because that is always the case with 7er vs 5er (5er comes two years later, has much of the same tech on board, is smaller thus better looking).

And more impressed because there has never, ever, been a generation where the 7er looked better than the 5er. BMW simply is better at the 5er than the 7er. Plus they make more money with the 5er.

The air intake is almost the same as the F01, watch it out at the latest spy pics, you almost talk as if the news BMWs had verydifferences between them, and actually they are moving to a more similar design.

Thare has been a 7er more beautiful than a 5er, E38, and the other one that comes before it maybe too.

E39 was better than E38 in every possible way, imho. Inside out.

And the front bumper is under heavy camo. It's impossible to see what it will look like for now. But the camo is done similar as the F01 front bumper, I'll give you that.
