![]() | Re: 2010 BMW 5er (F10): spy pics & info Tyc that stick is, at least in my country, standard for the 6er. 6er and 5er have a different design everywhere I believe. I did not know that the 6er gearlever is available for the 5er too, so thanks Btw, that stick is going to the new Z4 too ![]()

![]() But frankly, I am glad at least it is not a generic automatic shifter like other companies have. | |

![]() | Re: 2010 BMW 5er (F10): spy pics & info ^ no. That shifter will be here for a long time, just like the old shifter was here for a looong time. The new 7er has one too, remember? New 7er, 5er, Z4 all have this one. Or one very similar to that one, like the one posted by Tycoon (in the E63 6er LCI)

![]() | Re: 2010 BMW 5er (F10): spy pics & info OT: I am flattered by the upgrade of materials in both the 5/6 series after the recent facelifts ... they really upped the game and its like they hired a new team or changed their standards .. or simply a new supplier .. klier check it out since I remember you own/owned a pre facelift 6 series. you'll be impressed, the knobs/materials are all top notch |

![]() | Re: 2010 BMW 5er (F10): spy pics & info The "old" shifter is for the standard 6-speed automatic. The "new" is standard when ordering the sport automatic, that was introduced after the facelift. It shiftes faster (120ms) and afaik comes with the shifters behind the steering wheel. |
