Watching the spy pics, with all the cammo, and reading EnI word on the new E-Class topic, this F10 reminds me my old E39. The overall shape seems to be more rounded, more like old scholl beemers. |

Hello everybody. This is my first post in this forum. I'm seeking for my future car in the range of the 5-Series and I'd like to know if there is a certain release date for the car in Europe yet. My intention is to purchase it in 6 to 12 months from now. Thanks you all. (Excuse my english; it isn't my mother language) |

Thanks you two. I hoped something earlier because the test prototypes looked as advenced as de 7's and Mercedes is launching the new E class in the first quarter of 2009, but a longer life for the E60 makes more sense. I suppose I could give a chance to the F5 then. I prefer to buy a car in the first half of it's commercial life because I will own it for at least 10 years and will make it look less old to me in future. |

Thanks you two. I have big expectations on this new 5 series. Test prototypes seem to have beautifull proportions. In fact, they do look better to me than the E60 even under the camouflage. But I don't know if it will be enough to make me wait untill 2010. I hoped it would be here sooner, as the 7 was scheduled as a 2009 model an it's debuting in july. If they would just show us something earlier in 2009 it could make me consider to wait.  |
