But the total drag should (which is cd x frontal area). Anyway I don't think the frontal area of these cars are really going up much (not more than the rest of the dimensions), it is just that the grill is taking up more space in the front. |

Drag co-efficients and so forth aren't all that important for this big hunk-a-metal dressed in a spiffy tracksuit. Even for the eventual new M5, the larger kidney grilles, and the more squared frontal area wouldn't make much of a difference. Also, you gotta remind these mules have heavy cladding applies...underneath it all, the 5er could well have a very curvacious face much like the current one. ![]()
