There will be blood in the press... Here in Sweden, journalists always rant on about how crappy BMW's electric steering performs. The only thing about BMW that they seem to hate more is the active steering.

This 5er looks like it's going to be quite elegant. Much smoother than the angular geometric thing the E has going on now. A role reversal with these two new cars...

Sounds pretty hardcore

Maybe they'll delve deep into the once top-secret GINA laboratories and implement some form of active butterfly slats. Good point you make though Martin, considering the size of the intakes on the X5/X6M, and the no-foglights decision with the current M5, M6 and M3.

Did a little Sherlock Holmes investigating, fishing through spy photos of the F10..and there's a little difference I noticed.

The dark blue 5er is the V8TT model (my cunning eyes noticed the squared-off exhaust tips!), while the silver 5er has an engine other than the V8TT (deductive reasoning you know!). With the silver 5er, the air intakes directly beside the foglights are covered-up with normal plastic moulding, but with the dark blue 5er, this same area is left completely open. Not sure how much (if any) impact this would have on the cooling of the V8TT since it's in V-configuration, but just something my dear friend Watson and I noticed.

^ It looks to be the real car and it's:Nice, Nice, Nice!

Sporty, sculptural elegance ~ the new 5er will definitely be a stunner, both aesthestically and technologically.

UPDATE: one thing bothers me >> the shape of the headlight washer - my eyes can't tell if those are identical or not.

Interesting, but you may already know that you can depict the unit under the hood by looking at the exhausts.
