The new 5er will not be at the IAA at least for the public.
The debut is next Spring @ Geneva as the car is still in the final stages of development.

The only 5er that will debut will be the 5er Gran Turismo, other debuts include the BMW Active Hybrid 7, BMW Active Hybrid X6 and the BMW X1.
But there will be other European debuts such as the BMW 760Li , BMW X6 and X5M , BMW 740d , BMW X6 M-Sport , BMW 5er Gran Turismo "Individual" , BMW 1er Special edition. Cars are not the end all with plenty of Technolgical and Efficient Dynamics innovations.

BMW will take over whole area of the new Hall 11 at the Messe forgoing it's traditional custom stand in the forum to showcase it's 3 brands, BMW will showcase over 70 cars.
