Yeah, we'll see! But what we're seeing so far is awesome. The proportions and stance of the new 5er is just mindblowing. Those new rims look dead sexy and sporty, and the brakes are huge....what's not to love

The brakes on a 335i or 135i with performance brakes look pretty big too. Maybe they are testing the brakes of the new M5 on the 550i, or maybe the F10 is finally getting a big brake kit/ceramic brakes too. I dunno.
Well, I don't think they test Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires for anything other than the M5.

Could be some optional M-wheels, or M-pack wheels. Who knows.

Yet IMO ... the exhaust is fishy ... usually M-specific exhausts have the pipes moved towards center. This one has a classic 50i exhausts pipe position.

Perhaps they are really first testings on the suspension & the brakes, not yet on the engine.
The pipes are not always moved that much towards the center. For example, look at the setup of the current M6.

Yep.

No doubt the optional 20" wheels will look even nicer and I'll specify those.

The wheels for the current M3 are made by BBS either.

I wont be surprised. BBS also designed the glorious wheels found on the M3 CSL

Any pricing predictions? Now that the E-Class is $5K cheaper than the outgoing one, will BMW continue to sell their 5's at a lower price than the E's?
