^ Huh? Oh, ok... not exactly exactly. Alright Mr. Nitpicky (you're right).

All I'm saying is that the E92 M3 looks better than the regular E92 Sport Pack in terms of its M aggressiveness. The fact that the entire E92 M3 front was transposed on to the E90 M3 is no bad thing at all.

Yeah, I get it. But all I am saying is that the regular 3er sedan front would maybe have been even better with special M treatment than the E90 with E92 front...
I really am not a fan of giving these M models the same front. Hope it won't happen on the next M5/6, and honestly I don't think it will happen.

Well, the E9x M3s have it, the new X5 and X6 Ms have it...
But I can not imagine a current 6er front-end on the current 5er as well, so if the differences are so big I am not so sure about it.
I like it at the E90 M3, gives it an even more aggressive touch, very nice :-)

It's an interesting point-of-view you have here. I feel that it was a - perhaps coincidental - masterstroke that BMW pulled by giving the two M3 the same face. It kinda puts them into their own little M family rather than punting them as souped up versions of their respective model ranges. I'm a big fan of the results in the E9x M cars.

Of course I can't see how this is going to work on a 6er given the current model's vast difference from the sedan. Is someone suggesting that we'll see a more distinct convergence in frontal DRG between the 5er and the 6er? I hope not as I'm more keen on seeing a 6er with E89-style frontal treatment.

bmwownage is on a distinguished road
If that is the rumour, it is hinting that there will be huge similarities between the next 5 and next 6, the 6 will become more of a 5series coupe instead of something quite dramatically different (like what we have now).. i mean, at least the lines need to join up, not really a worry, it kinda makes M cars even more exclusive, the only problem I can think of is, if there is a coupe facelift following a sedan facelift, will the M5 get 2 facelifts? just like the current M3 sedan, unless they decide to do absolutely nothing to the front end of the E92 M3.

With the mules on the streets we can see than the front ends of the next 5er and 6er won´t be similar at all, the 6er seems to have much bigger kidneys ala CS, and the lights look like they are going to be different to what we have seen from the F10 as well.

I´m still surprised anyone has maked a PS with the latest leaked pic.

My money for this rear lights, with a little piece like the CS ones located on the boot lid, and, as the latest BMWs, entirely red.

Am I the only one who sees a clear similarity between the render and the mule´s rear?.

There will be more L in the cluster design. Although more stylized then eg on 7er or X5.

The initial proposal (of the chosen design) had white side indicators in the rear light cluster, but I guess this can change with the production car - since BMW are introducing dominantly red cluster design lately. Although eg. Z4 rear lights show there are some exceptions.

I also wonder how some details can change - the front is changed a bit from the initial proposal, yet I have no idea what's happening with the rear. Since sometimes the propsals are changed - and the production version is not looking like the initial sketch or even clay model (remember the E65 rear lights, E90 rear light, E92 boot lid / rear bumper, complete F07 rear, E63 front etc).

Not sure how much this matches the leaked pic. Rear seems guesswork.

The rear stance looks a bit weak!

Needs to be more assertive like the X6's stance
