| Re: My dad's new driver is a black M5. Ok, Im about to say something irresponsable, immature, and somewhat nieve: When you drive an M5 the world is your race track!! Ok so I got my first ride in the car today and hope soon to get my first drive in it but only if I can pry my old man's fingers from the wheel. So here are my first impressions. Most of the driving we did was in P400 mode. When we did actually hit the free way my dad flicked the M button on and we drove around a bend at 120 mph before the old man realized how fast he was going. We did some errands and decided to go home. We were in P400 mode and made a hard right turn at about 40-50mph. We ended up doing a controlled drift until the onboard electronics said "no you dont, youve been very bad and I am now taking over this car", which basically meant it stopped acceleration. I said "dad if you would have pressed the M button it turns off the electronics so you could have done a better drift, you know like the ones Jeremy Clarkson does on Top Gear". When we arrived back at my house he had a big smile and said "did that scare you" and I said "no" and he remarks "well it should have!"
