Re: BMW M5 twin-turbos?

I´m not so optimistic with thought of having V10 TT in M5 or M6 for that matter.V10,as it is,is a masterpiece and I belive it would loose it´s soul with turbocharging.Better option,by me,is to add 0,2-0,5 litre to dissplacement or move revs up to 9000 rpm IMO to get additional 50-60 HP .M engines have allways been N/A and I don´t like idea to change that tradition .

well i don't mind anything from M division. They never dissapointed me. atleast until now, whether high revving or turbo charging, it would be a blast to drive for sure.

Yes,I now what you mean..But,I think this is not time to radicaly change M engine layout yet.Be assured that N/A concept is far from over IMO and sticking to it is not to be considered a weakness but as strength. If M-division decides to go with turbocharging their engines that would be ok by me but I would fell little, very little dissapointed .

M actually used to make some crazy ass turbo charged engines for F1.

As for this pic, my bet is it is probably some tuner trying some turbos on.

Is it me, or are front and rear tires the same width on that M5?

Best regards, south
