Respect to the E60. Great car, looks gorgeous and the best M5 ever.

But the ol' boy still looks good today...

-BMW got this one so right, that still was a very capable car even when it was replaced by the current model in 2003.

That's the E39, not the E60.

The current one is the the E60.

Yes. I know that.

Read the post again and you see I posted "the ol' boy still looks good today" which means "the 5-Series E39 still looks good today" above the photos.

The E39 is a very lovely car, wonderfully styled. I remembered when the E39 was released i was looking at photos of it for days, reading and re-reading the brochure for no apparent reason. I liked the interior design very much, and having sat inside my friends 2003 blue 525i (E39) I can say the interior fit and finish, and the material quality is very high the current E60 cannot match it at all.

I wholeheartedly agree. I personally prefer the E39 over the E60.. in any form.

This generation of BMWs (E46, E39 etc) is the best ever in my opinion.

For shizzle! It's gorgeous, especially the face lifted one with the Cellis LED tail lights.
