I call myself a German car fan, so naturally I can spot the differences immediately.

There are several very obvious facelift points. Chrome, LEDs... Dead giveaway.

L.E.Ds and headlight reflectors plus upside down air dam are the easy spotters for the FL-ive seen a 535i-there beautiful..

I talked a customer into getting one over a 550i at my dad's dealership .

BMW is really toning down the front bumpers on facelifts, looks less sporty imo but it can be a good thing for the 5..
The 1er facelift (without Msport package) has a bumper that is way less sporty than pre FL car...
