Extremely frugal for a large estate with such performance.

Build and material quality are high.

Appearance:
Modern 5 Series design has aged gracefully and benefits from subtle revisions.

Interior:
A comfortable and inviting ergonomic cockpit; iDrive system has been simplified.

Safety:
Four-star Euro NCAP rating.

Equipment & Value for Money:
535d is in the upper echelon for its class, but it’s well worth it. The lesser models are arguably better value.
