The issue of torque between the E55 and M5 will soon be a dead issue w/ the arrival of the E63. Not sure as to what specific rating is given for the cars torque due to the fact that specs have not yet been released. However this is an easy assumption given the figures that are out for the 6.3 liter engine in the ML63, which max torque is 450 lb. ft. @ 5,200 rpm....and I can't imagine how often I'd be able to acess that? Anyways, AMG engine will still have more, albeit not much more than the M 5.0 V-10. Two awesome engines, two great cars, what more need to be said? Well, the M5 is a true four door sports car
As a footnote, I saw my first M5 a night or so ago, couldn't see much, but it looked good. Saw one on Fri and today, the one I saw today was especially HOTT!!! Silver Gray on Blk. Killer!!! I was right next to the one I saw Friday, but the exhaust made very little or no noise, it was very subdued. An Eisenmann exhuast system will easily rid the problem
