The new X5 will be produced in Spartanburg (NC, USA) and its main focus will be on the american market, and it will have 7 seats like its main rivals, the Audi Q7 and the Mercedes GL. The new X5 will also get a new xDrive system that will be capable of a more flexible torque split between the front and rear axle and the left and right wheels.
