Great post, AlxAmg. I love these older Mercedes Benzes. To see them all in peak form at the old Geneva Motor Show is fantastic! I like the atmosphere of the early 1980s shows. Today, I think some of the international motor shows look too much like a light show.

I love that picture Bum-Man used in his post. Interestingly, I think the W123 in that picture was starting to look very dated compared to the two others and that was only 1981. It must be the rear-end and the tyres, they look really skinny on the W123. Thanks again, AlxAmg
