I'm not sure this is the best thread to post, but has anyone here heard of W123 or even older Mercs being upgraded with modern technologies? I know Americans like to put current engines and conveniences into '60s and '70s muscle-era cars.

I'd love to acquire a W123 and stuff the current E-class powerplant in it since my search for a 450SEL is effectively over.
