Re: C63 AMG drive for 70kms..what a machine??? - 06-13-2008, 08:48 PM

I agree with TennMB (TO A DEGREE) which is why I didn't say anything about trying to drive one right now. This car is too hot and too new for joy rides right now. Now when I go for service they sometimes ask me if I want to "see" anything, I'll run the C63 AMG by them next time and see what they say.

That said I think it is a little overboard to say that someone should "get a life" because they're a car enthusiast and they want to drive their dream car. It could give them something to aspire to, improve themselves so they can come back and buy. Hell it could inspire them to go into deep debt to buy one, what does the dealer care. Hell a sale is a sale to them.

On the other hand that "get a life" remark doesn't improve the sleazy, shovel-footed image most people have of sales people. There is some middle ground.
