Sorry, I have to disaggree!!
There are a lot of BMWs that become really classics…the BMW 507 for example. So, maybe a problem is, that there much more Mercedes on the oldtimer markets then BMW - there is no chance to see so many classic BMWs then Mercedes' - although there are a lot!!!
And Audi has the problem, that it is (compared to BMW and Mercedes) an extremely young company. But their cars will become classics - definitely. And especially todays BMW will have the chance to become classics, because of their special design language.
