Why Mercedes doesn't just sell a limited number of these in the U.S. is beyond me. I mean 50-100 units wouldn't hurt the SLR all that much I don't think. This is without a doubt the best car Mercedes makes. It has the hardcore character a lot of people say the SLR should have had.

Come on Mercedes, give us a CLK DTM AMG with the new 6.3L V8 and 580hp like the one used to showcase the new V8. You know the orange one that made the rounds a few months back.
