Testdrive BMW 335i

Hello folks
Well i told all the BMW fans that i had something going on for them,so here it is..

I just came home from driving the 335i, and i dont understand what the hype is about with this car,it looks wierd and it drives nothing speciall.
With all the talk on this forum i was expecting so much more so it was a huge let down..

Now to the truth:
The car is about the best thing ive driven in my life, and you all know ive been through some serious audi´s the last days..
So what can i say about this magnificent car?
Actually i dont have words for it,but ile try

Right from the parking lot at BMW Gothenburg i felt that this was something speciall, it jumped forward at just a flick of the throttle, i imedietly recognized the heavy sporty steering that ive experienced once before in the M3.
As i drove out on the twisty hill roads around the area i got more and more impressed.. the damn car has such a sick register, its powerfull at any given moment, and if you dont know you could never guess its a turbo charged engine.
The problem i had with the RS4 concidering it not beeing as sharp when it comes to changing directions, that problem does not exist in this BMW..
it redicolous..haha..it just changes direction at a blink of an eye..
Its just an amazing car, i feel like im repeating my self over and over again.
There is nothing bad i can say about it, often with these German cars you can always complain about the price and such, but i cant even complain about that, given that it costs 420K approx in sweden, and you have to go way south of 500K if you want a car with its abilitys..

Conclusion:

Pros:
Great engine,
Great gearbox ( automatic,it was good for both fast and slow driving)
Amazing feel in corners
Good Quality very solid

Cons:
There arent any besides the interior design wich sucked cause the black leather and plastic type aluminum made it look bad, but that can ba changed with wise options and colour choices.

Verdict:
I know i shouldnt compare cars but i must, cause the impression of the Audi´s are still with me.
Living in sweden i would go for the 335i compared to the RS4, in my honest optinion it was more fun to drive, for example the weather was better today and the car has over 100hp less but it still lost traction at all the right corners wich gave me that thrill i seek so deperatly when it comes to cars like these.
Other than that a car like the 335i eats everyting on the roads in sweden so its fast enough, maybe even to fast
Ohh and the huge price diffrence.. we are talking about 420K vs 730K..that is a huge diffrences.. you can buy some serious cars for that diffrence only..

So all in all this car gets 5/5 for me..and a to BMW, for making such a good looking and extreme machine that does everyting superbly.. from carrying back seats passengers in comfort to hardcore driving without compromise.

If there are any BMW fans that are worried that the new M3 wont be da bomb, they need to test this car, it will blow you away.. and make you think, about what a bizzare and sick machine the new M3 will be..

PS
The weather was bad today to, but still better than the Audi test drive. so i even managed to take some crappy pics.. they are still better than nothing
ohh and check out my car to..thats what i jumped into after driving that beast.. makes me sick to my stomach..haha

Enjoy Boys:

My baby

Re: Testdrive BMW 335i

im jelous, I havent tried the car yet

Yesterday I talked to our member sideways, he and his friend were testdriving the 335i. His friend own a 996 Carrera so they raced the 335i vs 996 Carrera and he said the 335i was the fastest car. The 996 owner has now ordered a black 335i

Re: Testdrive BMW 335i

i can imagene..its just super quick..and its quick in a way that i like..
its tourqy quick.. it feel like it has loads of grunt.
this car appointed the only thing i had agains the old M3 wich i felt was a bit screamy and low on torque..
so this 335 is just how i like it

Re: Testdrive BMW 335i

Thanks for the wright-up Artist.

I saw the car on Sunday, in a car show. It looked great, but for once again, BMW Hellas acts like a 5 years old boy who doesn't want to share his ice-cream, and had all the cars locked...

Re: Testdrive BMW 335i

yep it was auto..the car would be killer with SMG..
but if i can only go with auto or manuall give me auto..cause i like the laid back style of the box during normall driving,
and belive me its potent enough for fast driving..
heck with that engine any gearbox would seem superb
