ohh and it wont surprise me if MB shows the new C63 AMG at the IAA either..
they will show the C at geneva..and it takes AMG more or less 6months to make a car..
so lol the new M3 will be underpowerd vs the competition at release..

you dont know this.
If we check previous numbers for M3 and M5 you can see that the horses between M3 and M5 arent that many. M5 E60 has 507hp and Im sure M3 will get like 430-440hp.

M5 E39 - 400 hp
M3 E46 - 343hp

M5 E34 - 315hp (later 340hp)
M3 E36 - 286hp (later 321hp)

Noway next M3 is getting only 420hp when the M5 has 507hp. More likely 430-440hp.

Wrong. BMW has usually taken about a year after the introduction of the lower class car to make the M version. Nothing new here.

well hasent it been over a year since the Sedan came out..where is the Sedan M3 atleast??

ohh and im talking about compared to the competition..
now just me you dont belive that MB will make a new C63 with less hp than the new M3??

E46 never had a 4-door M3, so I belive coupe and cabrio M will come before 4-door M.

not less, C AMG has never had less HP than M3. On other hand M3 usually has lower weight than C AMG.

the M3 will be underpowerd compared to its competition almost right from the start..

It doesent have anything to do with the E46.. if the E90 is supposed to have a 4 door M3 it should have been shown by now..cause the 3er has been out for a while now.. thats my opinion atleast..

Not really. I think BMW looks at the M3 as a coupe no matter what variations are available for it. I think the coupe still stands as the 'main' M3. So give it about a year to see the new M3 coupe. The sedan I am sure is not going to come out until the main guy--the coupe-- comes out.

How will the competition be more powerfuls Artist? I don't understand.

M3 is well-known for their Coupes, thats always been the top-seller version so of course coupe will come first. Coupe is prority no 1, not 4-door Sedan M3.

just bacuse M3 has like 10-20hp less than the C63 then it mean M3 will be lot slower than C63?. Horsepowers arent everything, weigth and gearing is important as well. M3 underpowered, than thats always been the case since C AMG alwyas had more power than M3, no news exactly.
BTW RS4 has 420hp and who says M3 will have less power than RS4?
If you think BMw will let the competiton be ahead performance wise, you are wrong. even though C55 has more power than M3 doesnt mean its superior the M3 in acceleration.

I'm not even that worried how much HP the M3 will produce to be honest. Like we've said a million times, if the 335i is that fast, the new M3 will be on a totally new level. When it comes to the drivetrain, it is guaranteed that it will at least match (I expect them to surpass, since they have had more time to improve) the RS4. You're worrying for no reason TA, you'll be amazed with the final product

first of all.. okay coupe first.. in your world maybe thats logicall.. in mine i say bring on the car for gods sake.. sedan coupe anything..

and about the power issue..AMG´s are always more powerfull..
but the M3 is on top for a while with everything.. i mean that with this late release it wont be on top for long as far as power goes..cause the C63 will come out more or less at the same time.. and if we follow tradition the C63 will be more powerfull..and probably faster in a straight line..
hence my first statement..it will be underpowerd vs the competition from START..

now we cant say wich car will be faster for sure.. that we have to wait for..but with most certainty the C63 will have more power than the M3.. and thats fine.. but from the start.. like if they debut at the same time..
