But the two 39mm turbo chargers give it the advantage same as 0.5 litres more displacement. The powerful engine has no problem with the weight of the car, always offers enough power and makes it a pretty good performer even though it has no "M" in its name. The engine and 6-spped manual transmisison are a pefect peering, only there is no mechanical limited slip differential but an ESP which always interferes with throttle and gas, lacks a bit of traction. But the power of the engine always preserves the enthusiam of driving one. You have to get used to the new active steering whoch gives a preview on the future things to come from BMW. The 335i is a true dream car, nothing else, the quickest coupe without the "M" in its name. Balance and handling is more important on hockenheim than speed. Its easier to cut 4 seconds on nordschleife than on hockenheim. 335i did one darn good job on hockenheim. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: [scanning] Sportauto Supertest: BMW 335i Well, Deutsch complained that (the sedan) its too expensive. But, even if the sedan is going to be a little bit slower vs. the coupe, compared to the S4 and C55, it will be a bargain. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: [scanning] Sportauto Supertest: BMW 335i its expensive for some and for some not. Base price in Sweden is 41.800 euro for 335i. The one I looked on had a lot of extra options and the price for the car was 55.500 euro. Not far off from M3 E46 but if you choose the M3 you just get the standard equipment and no extras like this 335i had. Now if my damn lottery ticket would give me 93 million swedish kronor I would order one today ![]() |
