How many facelifts did the E46 get. If the E90's been around for 1.5 years how come they are already facelifting it?
Each model get one facelift.
Who says the E90 is getting a facelift now. When they facelift is official then we can talk.

Youngwarrior its obviosly another attemp from your side to try to bash BMW. Its starting to get childish to hear it in thread after thread. if you going to bash, to it more rarely now its too obvious.

E46 got one facelift - in September 2001.

E90 will get a facelift ... sometimes. Seing it tested today doesn't mean it is coming to showrooms next months. We are still many months away from the E90 facelift!

Also regarding E90 sales in UK: eg. in 2005 24,196 3er saloons were sold (E46 + E90 combined), while also 22,002 1ers were sold - leading me to believe some buyers went to 1er instead to 3er.

In the 1st half 2006 24% more 3ers were sold compared to 1st half 2005.

So the sales are definitely not bad ...

Am thinking of getting a A3 or a 318/320ci next year. A3 if I cant find a m-tech bmw in my price range and colour (black). If I do get the BMW you cnat call me a BMW basher anymore

I just dont like the new 3ers as much as the E46, which I absolutely adored.

I don't find much fault in the E90 when contrasted against the competition. I saw a 330i yesterday, graphite with sport package in the bright midday sun, and was very impressed.

Still, I've resolved that the rear treatment needs to be more tidy. After well over a year I'm still not comfortable with the strange coloration of the taillights. This is easily fixed, as we've seen with some aftermarket jobs. I just hope BMW themselves hurry up and do the fix sooner than later.

Also - BMW needs to bite the bullet and add some real LEDs to this car's rear. Same goes for the 5er, come think. I guess we'll just have to wait for the facelift on that one.

Scott says it's a new aerodynamic package which will come with 335si next summer ... Same air intake shape - but a bit wider & without horizontal bar - will be used on E90 M3.

The bodykit will be a new aerodynamic package which will be introduced next summer in a "bridging" model - we are not going to facelift a car which went onto the market in March 2005 - 1 and a half or so years later.
But for closer investigation enlarge the front intakes a few inches and you get closer to front end design of the M3 sedan and Touring As BMW want seperate identities from the Coupe in M variant just as Coupe is much different from the sedan.
