It could be just a reflection apparently due to bad scanning / photo taking. But I'm not sure since I haven't seen original pic in Autocar.

But the car is real.

Also: AutoCar also published 3-door 1er undisguised a while ago. And the E92 & E93 with only front & rear camo bra on.

Its kinda sad though that the Coupé always looks this nice (this one seems to also).. cause i really need a 4 door car next time :|

Oh those taillights are nice on this new 3er! thay don`t look like the Lexus
if anything thay have been pulled from the 7er. The sedan should have gotton a shorter length version of these tail lights imo. The design so far look fresh.

I like the fact that thay didn`t move the license plate area to the rear bumper.

yes you are correct, first time I saw facelifted 7er I said I liked the shape of the rearlights and since its similar to the new Coupe then of course I like the rear.
