I thought the f/l 335 was meant to get that DKG transmission?? Is it an option?

Correct. It's manual standard, either automatic or DKG, the latter being more expensive obviously. The States won't get it yet.

Only E92/E93 335i got the (non-M) DCT. E90/E91 335i still have the Steptronic.
