Nope I havn't pulled the trigger yet.I've got 10 months on my X3 lease.I really would like the 50i X6...love that TTV8.I drive about 25k-30k miles a year for my work. The 50i gas mileage is somewhat of an issue given the miles I drive.I'm not one that needs the first car off the production line. The X6 Hybrid really has my attention. For BMW to pick this car for their first hybrid ever, they have alot riding on this vehicle.I would like my cake and eat it too...TTV8 performance and a little better gas mileage. The only problem w/ the two mode hybrids...as I understand it...you get the best mileage in city driving when the car works on electric only mode. Most of my driving is interstate,w/ some city driving.Anyway,I've waited this long and I really want to see what the Hybrid X6 is all about. The PAS might be enough to get me to take my eye's off the X6.Time will tell. Thanks! My bad, thought you had the X6 xDrive35.
Like you I am drawn to the X6, and will certainly go for the TT V8 Q1 next year as a replacement for my 3 series.

I would know because:

1. I work AT the factory
2. Came out of a meeting concerning the outlook for BMW in the next few years.

That should be good enough no?

Besides, look at the facts. The F25 is coming to the plant and that's not in the very near future quite yet. The expansion for that is not even done yet. To bring the 3er to SC would require: assembly process, tooling change, not to mention find suppliers for parts, the list goes on.

I'm not saying it's not going to happen ever. It makes sense to me as well, but like I said in my original post, it's not in the near future. This is no insider information at all, just some simple facts.
