The one who bought him that M3 is the biggest idiot in this whole story.

I have no time for these idiots. They deserve everything they get for putting other peoples lives at risk...

Big thing from this story for me is the the realisation of how safe the M3 is for a coupe...

Early this year, an 18-year old killed his friends while doing 160 Mph in unlit runway in a brand new BMW M5. Very possibly a 2008 Darwin Award winner this one.

Soon after, two young men, aged between 18 to 20 years old, killed themselves while doing 140 Mph (???) when their BMW 335i Coupé crashed against a tree.

Now we've got this 19-year old punk who destroyed a M3 V8.

I think you can gather a conclusion based on these three accidents:

BMWs and teenagers - quite a deadly combination.

BMW should be flattered...I guess that's what happens when you appeal to the youth.

As a company we are not impressed with these inexperienced individuals who regulary flout speed limits and to show off what the car can do with no regard for public safety.

technically there is blame to be given to all-sides but you have no idea how many people who have passed their exam for driving I have met at Motor shows and BMW events who are young and tell me that they are buying this car or that their parents are buying this car for them. My replies are not entirely diplomatic which is why I work my creativity in the background rather than in the foreground.
But in the end it is still their choice, and then their sole responsibility which as you can see from above their responsibility.

I do get comments of everything including the allure of driving at speed on the autobahn and of course the nostalgia of the ring.
These are not for the inexperienced driver and I have seen many altercations especially with a minor majority of US delivered "delivery" plated BMW's completely showing off to passengers with scant regard to other users on the autobahn.
The Ring is another attraction that allures the inexperienced driver , and for a while there due to complaints by regular users that they banned european delivery cars from the ring but this appears to have been reinstated . It is not a good idea to have a professionally driven prototype BMW fly round the ring just to come up to a bend and be blocked by an inexperienced driver who's only attribute is to give a thumbs up to the prototype driver .

This is not only BMW , but Mercedes , Porsche , Audi etc all discuss the same question.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Idiots should not have sex, then this genetic failure wouldn't have been born, and the M3 wouldn't have been destroyed.

It's a shame that such people even get to drive an M3, they lack all respect...first for the people they have next to them and second to the power the car deliveres. If you have driven 10 thousands of km with a car and have the opportunity to go for the limits in a safe way then you can enjoy it correctly, and switching on M mode is ment for a race track only, not for public roads. I have baout 11 years of driving experience but I would never try to test the limits of such a car on a public road
Dumb ass idiots lucky no one got seriously hurt here.
