  | Motor Trend - BMW 3 Series: Ultimate Best-Selling Driving Machine  DETROIT -- In a couple of recent posts, I indicated that the top-three best-selling European models in the U.S. are Volkswagen Jetta, Passat, and BMW 3 Series. I had two of the right cars, but the order should be BMW 3 Series, then VW Jetta. Two Mercedes and two BMW products now outsell the Passat. A couple of my L.A.-based colleagues corrected me on this.
