Coupe for "ultimate" performance. Sedan for "practicality". Convertible to be seen in (which is me, currently running a white E36 M3 convertible

I love the fresh summer air,
I also love to display my self and the sexy brunette sitting right next to me, (could also be a blond)
crusin' in L.A with no roof is like -
F***** a girl with no condom (you guys know the difference)
and of course I love the button that says.

As much as I like the coupe the sedan looks more or less identical from the front and the performance compared with the coupe isn't any much less inferior. Once it get's the tail light facelifted it will one very attractive car. The cabrio on the other hand is not a pretty car because of it's awkward proportions, further more it weight a lot.

The M3 Touring is now on the streets of Munich. In it's first development phase . currently it is using the standard E91 3er Touring bodywork without the M3 front end, but , covered air ducts , CSL wheels suggest something else but maybe the quad exhausts give the whole game away.
Like the M5 Touring that was at first disguised as a regular E61. Suggests the E91 will follow suit with development beginning first on the rear suspension.

The car will debut @ the IAA 2009 And will be only available in Europe.

The biggest clue to BMW's intentions for the M3 is in the BMW web TV Geneva showcase on the M3 Cabrio.
"Is this the M3 family complete?" asks the interviewer? Check out Mr Marketing , M division's answer.

So, what BMW think is missing in the M3 family is the soccer-mom... CSL anyone?

I would love to see a M3 touring, even more than the M3 convertible. The touring with DCT would just be the perfect family car. Sucks it won't be available in US.
