Not a fan of the cab, but definitely interested in the new transmission. Now, i'll have to wait and see what kind of numbers this thing does when it gets dropped into the coupe.

And I thought they were going to make it simplier after all the press complaining about M5 having too many/complicated adjustments.

I thought the VW DSG was 6 speed?

Agree with Deutsch that the M-DKG is the highlight for me. If BMW M has done its homework with this dual clutch gearbox (ie no premature breakdowns or problems), then this would be the transmission of choice for me.......the comfort and convenience of a automatic transmission for every day roads along with the lightning fast manual shifts on the track.

Should be (hopefully) a big improvement over their previous jerky SMG transmissions.

Don't care at all for cabrio, plus this new tranny in cabrio seems like a disappointment, which it ain't for sure. Put it in Interlagos Blue coupe and than we'll talk.

Love the looks ..but performance is questionable ..IMO,with M-DKG(which should be faster than manual) my prediction was 0-100 around 4,9-5,0 sec....Damn it..I expected to be quicker than this.

Now you guys know better than to rely on BMW, Mercedes or Audi factory figures. Wait until it is tested and then see.
