Do you dare to buy a used presscar? - 01-10-2008, 05:18 PM

This M3 has been used and abused by every single swedish carmagazine, including me Its now for sale.

anyone dumb enough to buy it will probably crash it pretty quick, so it doesn't matter.

I surely wouldn't buy such a car. And if you gave it to me I would sell it and buy me the same, but correctly handled.

These cars are not broken in, they made hard accelerations with cold motor, the journalists made things with them that nobody does with a car (I often saw journalists making the car jump because they are too fast on a bump...)...

These cars will have a lot of problems later. I would stand very far from such testcars.

Never in a million years would I buy that car. It's not broken in properly and all the drivers have probably grinded through half the clutch. The price is very steep as well for a press car, it should be discounted at least 8-15%.

You make it asif its a porno shoot Lol I wouldnt buy one i'd wait a year or two when the price has come down then look for one in condition with quite abit of miles on the clock if i'm not going to run it to the ground

If the car was half the price and came with warranty, sure why not.

At the right price (with a very heavy discount), I would buy it. As mentioned above, the factory warranty should cover the major components. But I wouldn't keep it beyond the warranty period.
