I really don't see how, the engine sure requires more air cooling but in that case you do the habitual stuff, redesigning the front bumper and sometimes the hood (the bulge), they could have done it with a different manner.

The reason for the Coupe front on the sedan is because the M3 suspension is set up for a Coupe. evident when you compare the sedan to the Coupe and you can see it is much lower. leaving the regular E90 face creates space around the suspension which leads to air to cause greater road noise , The front end of the Coupe is more compact and accomodates the suspension with no gaps , Also it has something to do with a upcoming gearbox. |
