A note: Just because M3 has a raised topspeed limiter doesnt mean it reached 280km/h on the straightline. We have to wait for the scans to see the speeds.

And if car had it´s limiter removed,for how long did it used that advantage ?I mean,there is only one or two straights long enough on N´Ring to reach near that speed in M3 IMO.It would make an diference in oval tracks or Monza maybe,but on N´Ring ?

Well unless both cars tested by the same driver and driving conditions i won't jump to anything!

Again, Sportauto uses the same driver for their Supertest. A real pro too and not an average Joe.
If not, sportauto supertest would be pointless and not so well-known. Even carmakers sometimes use the sportauto list as a reference.
Sportauto is no joke, in fact is a well-known source.

Who cares about R8, the goal was to beat the RS4, not the R8.

Very impressive for the M3 indeed. With a DSG gearbox, it may be even faster!

If you look at the Sport Auto Supertest times, you can see that R-compound tires added a 10 second advantage for the V8 Vantage (as Sport Auto tested the V8 Vantage both with and without R-compound tires).

Can't say for sure how the M3 would have done with street tires, but even if you add 10 seconds, 8:13 is pretty good, as that is a 9 second advantage over the previous E46 M3 time of 8:22. Similarly, if you add 10 seconds to the RS4 time of 8:09, you get 8:19. Of course, this is just speculation.

Does the C63 even offer R-compound tires as an option?? I don't think so. It'll be too bad if Sport Auto tests the C63 with street tires, as we will never know it's potential in relation to the RS4 and E92 M3.

Of course it'll beat the RS4 it's the newer model,BTW can the R-tyres be used as daily driver tyres or it's gonna suck and better go with normal tyres?
