Yes I realise that the CSL comes with A/C as an option. The thing is when you do check the option list it adds quite a bit more weight to the car and without it its pretty much worthless to take on the road.

Point is, it is optional. I don't know about you but I have ha a few car without A/C and it is not worthless. The car is merely not as comfort oriented anymore and for what it is worth, it should not be.

the differences are insignificant on a track. Again, its available and thats what I pointed out for you.

No, A/C systems are pretty significant as far as weight in the front of your car is concerned.

Even with A/C the M3 CSL can do close to 7.50 min on the ring. The car dont automatically become 10 seconds slower on the ring becuase of added A/C, maximum a 3 seconds difference, not much to really argue about.

You said "At least we have A/C." and I told you that is available for CSL and when I told you that you go on babbling how A/C affect the CSL.
Again, as stated earlier, the CSL can have clima controller and CD-player for those who don't want the car to be 100% hardcore. Just like a Black Series Benz. So when you say "At least we have A/C.", Im telling you, a CSL can have A/C as well.
