Man the engine sounds really good.

One technical question - I have no prior knowledge about this - shouldn't the magnesium in the engine react with the petrol, or something? It is a fairly reactive metal.

Pure magnesium will oxidize very quickly when in contact with water. There's no worries though since it is some kind of magnesium alloy and that only the core of the engine block is magnesium.

Not too surprised myself. Like I said its the best car I have ever driven. i have taken it extremely fast through the bends and found no understeer and no over steer. Its an amazing machine and its super responsive.

The 3 IMO is the perfect car for so many reasons, but to keep it short, I'll give a brief summary.

No other car has been able to maintain a class leading position for so long w/ so many competitors trying to steal it's crown, each carrying out an eventually unsucesscul attempt, because the 3 rises to and above the occasion everytime. This car is packaged so right, and it gives the consumer so many variations from which to choose from that reach across all affordable price brackets(for most markets). To boot the car has a design all it's own, which is very clear, clean, and to one degree or another, very functional, both exterior and interior wise. Lastly, this is one of the only cars I've driven that carves the road according to the drivers wishes, the chassis is impeccable, no other car actively pursues corners like the 3. The 3 in book will ALWAYS be the car to have.

Just another proof that the 3er is king of it's segment. Kudos!
