I'm not excited to see this car, but I will say it's definitely an improvement over the pre-facelift model . |

As far as I can see, the station wagon has the new leather color (dunno the name but it has replaced 'terracotta'?). It looks good IRL. Does someone remember the pictures of a E90 in the alps we saw roundabout two years ago? IMO the front is nearly similar ... so we already knew the real deal. Have to get over the rounded part left and right of the front bumpers plate area. But IRL it looks better. I'm still in love with the hood! |

Was at my dealer yesterday. Got a production slot for week 36 (Delivery around 23 september in Belgium). Base prices are up by around 700 euro (some small value options become standard), no details yet on pricing of the options. Asked whether new I-drive would be available, but nothing special was mentioned in the 'changes for model 2009' sheet. On the sheet, however, it was mentioned that 1-series I-drive gets additional menu buttons around the knob, so i guess it will be the same for 3-series. Other model changes that I could see on the sheet (the sales guy was not eager to let me see the whole document) are already several times discussed on this board (interior and exterior colours, 320xd, etc...). |

Wow the LED headlamps are a complete surprise! I never saw that coming and I think its an excellent upgrade. Now I would just like to see tail lights for the sedan. Any info on how many gears the downgraded DCT transmission will have. |
