besides the funny exhaust tip... did anyone notice, that there's no duct tape on the frontlights and the outer taillights? Are we looking at the real deal, at least for non-xenon versions? | | | | | Devotee

So in fact, there won't be the huge LEDs area on top of the CELIS. Sounds logical, the two did not flow together!
However, it looks a bit... average: no visible Leds or Celis it seems, only a big red light...Not very high-tech looking. | | | | | Fanatic

look closely at the latest image, there are led's in the top half, they're red but they're there. Prototypes on the road might just not always have them installed. | | | | | Devotee

Here is what the guy who seen the facelift said (he is also the guy who, posted the pic Warot posted above.
I'm sorry I don't have any pics to post. Much of this is just confirmation of current news. The E90/91 gets a new front, the hood has a long raised central bump originating from the roundel, reminds of the Jaguar XF but softer, looked really nice.
The front and rear turn and brake signals had the giveaway look of small clustered LED reflectors, the rear light is just as the renderings here on E90post depict (all red, notched, but still sloping) except the small white reverse light looks more like a tapered rectangle.
The side sills look like they get a little more shaping and a stronger creaseline. In general it looked a bit more aggressive, with subtle added surface shaping.
The E91 image looked to be Space Gray.
Mirrors had no integrated signals.
The E91 image showed a wheel I didn't recognize, it had 10 equally spaced straight spokes, alternating spokes had slightly different thicknesses. They looked like 18s, clean, almost Audi like.
My source didn't have any new news on the updated CiC/iDrive system for the E90/91. - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to Just_me For This Useful Post: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
