Yes, but that is the L shape people are talking about. That is the new shape of the LCI.
That, plus different graphics and Concept CS style LED lights will make a huge difference

The facelift is indeed looking very promising all around except for the side mirrors. I feel that the newer Mercedes have ugly side mirrors and now on the facelift 3 Series, it seems they are making it bulkier just like with recent Mercedes models due to some European regulation. Though it looks like BMW is finally adding indicator lights on them. For me, currently Audi has the nicest side mirrors out of the big 3 brand now.

I really like the new shape of the backlights. It's much more stylish this way. I guess the same difference will be seen on the E91.
