Here is a version with the white part at the bottom (which would be consistant with 1er, 3er coupe and Z4)... we'll see soon enough

Compare it to the current iDrive controller in E90/E91:

This is telling me we won't see the 3er facelift until after the new 7er. I would have expected the new 7er to debut the new iDrive.....
