Headlight shape is staying intact - will be same as on current MY.

Rear lights will have differently designed part on a boot lid - that part will be smaller / lower , creating more conventional L-shaped cluster appearance than the current rear light design. The design of the new cluster is similar to X5 / X6 Concept - especially due using the new LED tech (also ala CS).

The comb-like structure on the rear lights, and the headlight turn indicator is just a special camo tape / layer.

You can notice bump in tape(see left taillight below) Is that the top end of taillight? My rough attempt at making the Celis LEDs on the right.

Maybe, but the one on the E30 I think made a huge difference. But then again, the rear lights of the E90 desperately need some fixing.

Looking good. I think that bump is put there to avoid the true form being revealed. That is what I would have done had it been me being in charge of these testings.

Edit: on second thaught the bump seems to be an extension of the curve of the outer part of the rear light.

in my opinion, buying a car right before a facelift is definitly not a bad idea - close to the end of a cycle(pre facelift) most of the "covered" problems are solved out. so when the cycle starts again with a facelift, new problems from new parts apear ... i hope its possible to understand what i have written

Or, you could have all the fixes in a lifted shell... I would go for the FL no doubt about it.
