Would be awful nice if they seized the chance to fix the awkward L-shape of those rear lamps. I realize the mandate was to create link with the E46... being that the 3er was a "don't f-this up under any circumstances" design.

Remember that the original shape of the rear lights was changed in the last minute when they found out that Audi A4 facelift was getting similar rear lights.
